Imagine entering a space where cinema and theater merge to bring to life stories that will make you laugh, move and reflect. This is the Mostra de Cinema i Teatre (MCT), a unique experience that returns after a successful first edition in 2024.

The theatrical soul of the Mostra is Dinamics Teatre, an amateur theater group from Gràcia that transforms the stage into a microcosm of emotions with their micro works created especially for the occasion. At the same time, the short films selected at La Mercantil in Off Film Fest – which celebrates its gala in Balaguer – complement the proposal with stories on screen that dialogue with live theatrical works.

Each edition has a common theme, a common thread that unites disciplines and viewers in an immersive experience. In 2024, the focus was on the elderly, putting their experiences, challenges and stories full of wisdom on stage and on screen.

But the Mostra is not just a succession of works and projections; it is a space for meeting, for connection between artists and the public, an experience where the viewer does not just look, but lives, feels and is part of the narrative.
