We already have a jury to make the official selection for the first edition of La Mercantil En Off Film Festival.

The function of the jury will be to assess the 20 shorts that have reached the final to make the official selection that will be screened at Sala Mercantil de Balaguer this October 8. It won’t be easy, because there is a lot of level. These 20 shorts come from a total of 333 that we received between March and July. Not bad for being the first edition! It has been a pleasure to see and evaluate all the works, but only this 20 make it to the final.

We present our jury below: Lídia Garcia (director of photography), Robert Soto (filmmaker and editor), Marcel Buisan (director and screenwriter), Alex Moreno (director and screenwriter), Alicia Martí (actress), Jonathan Dale (editor ).

You can find more information about them on our website.

The criterion for making up this jury was that they were all film professionals, but in different branches, so that the final result takes into account as many variables as possible.
